SANKALP wins ‘Contributor of the year 2018’ award by The Ames Foundation
Sankalp has been conferred with Contributor of the Year 2018 Award by The Ames Foundation. Our Vice President, Vishal received the award this week on behalf of all the members of Sankalp. We would like to thank The Ames Foundation for recognizing the work that is being done for the past 3 years. Also, This wouldn’t have been possible without all of our volunteers. This award belongs to everyone who volunteered with Sankalp and supported us every year.

Ahead of dead week, we at Sankalp had the opportunity to thank all our volunteers for all their efforts towards fundraising via Daawat 2017 and via the football season in Fall 2017. With funding provided by the student government, the Volunteer appreciation event functioned both as a big Thank-you to all our volunteers and an introduction to many with regard to Daawat, our annual fundraising dinner held every Spring semester. We can’t thank our volunteers enough for taking time out on their weekends to participate in duties at the Football games! It’s been an incredible season for Sankalp with fundraising. Thanks to the volunteers. With four more games to go, we could potentially raise more to support NGOs back in India working on the ground to help underserved communities stand up on their own and access more opportunities that most of us take for granted.
